Bright, bold and not afraid to be different,
we publish books inspiring deaf and hard of hearing children to reach for the stars.

Representation matters! Motivated by our personal experience of working with deaf children as they learn to listen, read, speak and/or sign, we design our aspirational books and resources primarily for children with hearing loss and their families, friends and teachers - and to support deaf awareness education at home and in mainstream schools.

Featuring deaf and hard of hearing characters in starring roles, our books ensure that children with hearing loss can see themselves represented by fun and positive role models. Alongside inclusivity and representation, our goal is to support children in learning and practicing the functional language they need in their day-to-day lives at home, at school and in the playground, building vocabulary and developing social and cognitive skills. Through engaging, relevant storylines, we help deaf children to understand how their assistive hearing technology like cochlear implants or hearing aids work, and we show them that they are not alone - children all over the world are wearing magic ears and following their dreams!

We believe in raising the bar for deaf children, supporting them to exceed expectations and defy self-limiting stereotypes. We publish works by authors who share this vision and are either D/deaf themselves or are experienced ‘parent practitioners’, teachers of the deaf, or other professionals working with deaf children.

Our books are available in English, Spanish and Danish. Feel free to contact us for more information.
